6 GO annotations of cellular component

Name Definition
mitochondrial nucleoid The region of a mitochondrion to which the DNA is confined.
mitochondrial ribonuclease P complex A ribonuclease P complex located in the mitochondrion of a eukaryotic cell, where it catalyzes the 5' endonucleolytic cleavage of precursor tRNAs to yield mature tRNAs. The subunit composition of mitochondrial ribonuclease P complexes varies between species. The complex contains a single RNA molecule and a single protein molecule in yeast (PMID:12045094), but comprises three proteins and lacks an RNA component in humans.
mitochondrion A semiautonomous, self replicating organelle that occurs in varying numbers, shapes, and sizes in the cytoplasm of virtually all eukaryotic cells. It is notably the site of tissue respiration.
nucleoplasm That part of the nuclear content other than the chromosomes or the nucleolus.
nucleus A membrane-bounded organelle of eukaryotic cells in which chromosomes are housed and replicated. In most cells, the nucleus contains all of the cell's chromosomes except the organellar chromosomes, and is the site of RNA synthesis and processing. In some species, or in specialized cell types, RNA metabolism or DNA replication may be absent.
tRNA methyltransferase complex A multimeric protein complex involved in the methylation of specific nucleotides in tRNA.

6 GO annotations of molecular function

Name Definition
identical protein binding Binding to an identical protein or proteins.
mRNA (adenine-N1-)-methyltransferase activity Catalysis of the reaction: S-adenosyl-L-methionine + adenine in mRNA = S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine + N(1)-methyladenine in mRNA.
tRNA (adenine-N1-)-methyltransferase activity Catalysis of the reaction: S-adenosyl-L-methionine + tRNA = S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine + tRNA containing N1-methyladenine.
tRNA (guanine(9)-N(1))-methyltransferase activity Catalysis of the reaction: S-adenosyl-L-methionine + guanine(9) in tRNA = N(1)-methylguanine(9) in tRNA + S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine.
tRNA (guanine-N1-)-methyltransferase activity Catalysis of the reaction: S-adenosyl-L-methionine + tRNA = S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine + tRNA containing N1-methylguanine.
tRNA binding Binding to a transfer RNA.

7 GO annotations of biological process

Name Definition
mitochondrial RNA 5'-end processing Any process involved in forming the mature 5' end of an RNA molecule transcribed from a mitochondrial genome; occurs in the mitochondrion.
mitochondrial tRNA 3'-end processing The process in which the 3' end of a pre-tRNA molecule is converted to that of a mature tRNA in the mitochondrion.
mitochondrial tRNA 5'-end processing The process in which the 5' end of a pre-tRNA molecule is converted to that of a mature tRNA in the mitochondrion.
mitochondrial tRNA methylation The posttranscriptional addition of methyl groups to specific residues in a mitochondrial tRNA molecule.
mitochondrial tRNA processing The process in which a pre-tRNA molecule is converted to a mature tRNA, ready for addition of an aminoacyl group, in the mitochondrion.
mRNA methylation The posttranscriptional addition of methyl groups to specific residues in an mRNA molecule.
positive regulation of mitochondrial translation Any process that activates or increases the frequency, rate or extent of the chemical reactions and pathways resulting in the formation of proteins by the translation of mRNA in a mitochondrion.
