3 GO annotations of cellular component

Name Definition
endoplasmic reticulum The irregular network of unit membranes, visible only by electron microscopy, that occurs in the cytoplasm of many eukaryotic cells. The membranes form a complex meshwork of tubular channels, which are often expanded into slitlike cavities called cisternae. The ER takes two forms, rough (or granular), with ribosomes adhering to the outer surface, and smooth (with no ribosomes attached).
integral component of plasma membrane The component of the plasma membrane consisting of the gene products and protein complexes having at least some part of their peptide sequence embedded in the hydrophobic region of the membrane.
plasma membrane The membrane surrounding a cell that separates the cell from its external environment. It consists of a phospholipid bilayer and associated proteins.

3 GO annotations of molecular function

Name Definition
fluconazole transmembrane transporter activity Enables the transfer of fluconazole from one side of a membrane to the other. Fluconazole is an antifungal drug used for oral candidiasis and cryptococcal meningitis; it is still under study for treatment of vaginal candidiasis and other fungal infections.
spermine transmembrane transporter activity Enables the transfer of spermine from one side of a membrane to the other. Spermine is a polybasic amine found in human sperm, in ribosomes and in some viruses, which is involved in nucleic acid packaging. Synthesis is regulated by ornithine decarboxylase which plays a key role in control of DNA replication.
transmembrane transporter activity Enables the transfer of a substance, usually a specific substance or a group of related substances, from one side of a membrane to the other.

3 GO annotations of biological process

Name Definition
spermine transmembrane transport The process in which spermine is transported across a membrane.
transmembrane transport The process in which a solute is transported across a lipid bilayer, from one side of a membrane to the other.
xenobiotic detoxification by transmembrane export across the plasma membrane A process that reduces or removes the toxicity of a xenobiotic by exporting it outside the cell.
